I am fostering the finches mentioned in the basenote. They still need
permanent homes, pairs or groups *only* (finches need the company of
their own species) to good homes. I'm located in Ashby, Mass, and will
deliver within a reasonable distance. Please let me know if you are
interested.
I am hoping to place several pairs/groups in permanent homes with
schools and retirement homes. If you have cages that are appropriate
for finches (ie; closely spaced bars!) that you are not using, please
consider donating them. I'm willing to do a reasonable level of
cleaning/sterilizing/refurbishment of used cages. I am also willing to
come and pick them up. If you can help out, send mail to MEIS::TILLSON
or leave a message on my answering machine at home (508) 386-7138.
Thanks for your help.

| Still available are: 5 English breeder hens (a couple could possibly be
tamed if you had the time); three pairs of American parakeets; assorted
American parakeet hens. Free to good homes. Transportation can be
arranged, within reasonable distance from Merrimack.
Call me at 603/595-9429 before 9:30 p.m. and
weekends if interested or for individual descriptions of birds.
A huge T H A N K Y O U to Rita Tillson and others whose acts and words
of support are turning this situation around for these feathered
friends and their very worried former owner, who became unable to
care for them.

| A dozen still left. Some have paired off, some are still loners. At
least one hen acts as though she was someone's pet. The others may be
best as breeders. Two lutino hens, one black-eyed grey-wing white hen,
one yellow-face light blue and green opalescent male, etc. Very
pretty. Free to good home. May be able to help out with cages if
that is all that is in the way of adopting them. They are used to
greens, veggies, millet, calcium and mineral blocks, spring water,
natural perches and lots of flight room, and will need to be adopted by
folks who can offer a comparable situation. If you are one of those
special people, please give me a call at DTN 381-0687 or 603/595-9429
eves and weekends after 9 am but before 9 pm, please. Answering
machine is on 100% of the time, so please say hello...I will return all
calls if I miss you the first time around.
Thanks!
