I have not been able to find a copy of May Bird Talk locally on the newstands. Could someone copy the long article about Finches for me? There isn't to much written about Finches and some one told me this article was very good and held a lot of information. And does anyone know of a monthly magazine that is solely devoted to finches? Larger birds seem to be more popular than wee little finches these days. Maybe this article will help to understand why my "crazy little birds" do the things they do! I would really appreciate someone sending me a copy. Thanks a lot! Regards, Susan Sipila Mailstop: ML04-2/T65

You can find Bird Talk at most Pet Stores and Grain Stores. There are a few publications dedicated to finches and canaries. One such is the "Canary & Finch Journal" published quarterly. Price of $16.00 a year subscription. To get the subscription, send check to: P.O. BOX 1583, DEPT.BT490 Lake Oswego, OR. 97035 There is going to be a Finch symposium in Douglas MA (I think that is where it is going to be, but will get exact info for you) sometime this month or early June, can't remember. Info is at home. I will check and get back to you. There are a few finch clubs in MA. I will also try to get that info to you as well. I'll also zerox that article for you. Where would you like it sent? Regards, Denise Bourgault | |||||
