Sounds like a fish story to me, (Bait them in to buy expensive bird
trick). According to all my contacts, Congos are coming down in price.
Not much but coming down. I sure hope they aren't endangered. I have
5 I have set up for breeding, (fingers and legs crossed). I was
planning on asking around $800.00 for hand tamed birds myself, to stay
below the local market price which has benn around $1100.
That price is very high in my opinion.
