    Anyone have any information on where to buy Bourke's Parrakeets?
    I know of some local sources, but am trying to expand the
    possibilities.  If you ever come across these birds for sale and
    remember this note, pls. let me know where you discovered them.
    I found one this weekend by accident in a very small pet store
    on the cape, sitting in a cage with two English budgies.  The
    place had had the bird for sixteen months - the store owner
    speculated that his customers thought the price was too
    high for such a small bird.  (BTW, the bird is in excellent health,
    although the tips of the long tail feathers had been chewed some
    by her cagemates.  She wolf-whistles, too! - picked it up from a
    cockatiel in the next cage.)
