I was wondering if anyone was into the hobby of RACING PIGEONS,or new
of someone who is.

My uncle races pigeons. He has a very large coop and I would guess he
has over a hundred birds.

The owner of the K9 Kennels dog training center in Sterling, at the
Sterling town line near Clinton, has a lot of racing pigeons (near
190 and Route 12, north of Worcester, MA).
We found one of his birds in the parking lot at the Marlboro Big D
and were able to return it to him two weeks later after researching
the bird's origin by the band number. It was very young and had
gotten confused when the owner released a bunch of the birds for
flying exercise one day. The owner said he got one other bird back
from someone in Blackstone, quite a ways south of here.

I am not sure wether they are racing pigeons or what , but right
behind Whalom Park their is a person with Pigieons. There is a
Driving Range there and it is neat to see this flock of pigeons
circling around in unison over the Driving Range and nearby trees.

RE .4 His name is Ernie Chavalier. He lives in Milbury and they are
racers. He has raced them sinse I was a kid! He used to have some
really different types too, they were just for fun. He had ones that
looked like owls and some that were fancy feathered. Primarly he
races.
If you would like I'll give him a call and see if he has any interest
in parting with a pair or two.
