The MSPCA works on behalf of animals (including birds, of course),
so I hope everyone will consider reporting inhumane or cruel treatment
of animals. Pet shops and other enterprises set up to market and
sell animals (birds, snakes, cats, puppies, aquarium fish, mice,
turtles, whatever) are subject to the laws regarding treatment of
animals. Their number in Boston is 617-522-6008 (MSPCA Law Enforcement
Department). Has anyone had experience filing a complaint and seeing
any results (hopefully, positive) as a result of filing the complaint?
