For anyone interested:
Birds Of A Feather Avicultural Society is hosting its 3rd annual bird
show on Saturday, September 16th at the Auburn Village School in
Auburn, N.H. (Auburn is close to Manchester N.H.). This show was
advertised in Bird Talk Magazine and got much response. It should
prove to be a very large show. They are raffling off a baby
African Grey as well as many other prizes. Birds and supplies will
also be on sale at very good prices. I hear Bird Talk Magazine
representatives will be there to sign up/or renew your subscriptions
(Buy one year and get a year free! I was told).
If you have never attended a bird show then you are in for a
good time. Find out how birds are judged and see the many, many,
species.
If you wish to enter your bird, registrations will be taken from
7:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Judging starts at 10:00 a.m. Birds must
be in cages at all times. (If you have never shown a bird before,
please do not have food dishes. Seeds must be spread at the
bottom of the cage with a small container of water only. No toys
or other materials should be present. One perch is preferred.
One bird to a cage.
Doors open to the general public at 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
