    I know animals are smart, but this is un-real.  I just got a new
    phone/answering machine built in.  It hangs on the wall next to 
    my yellow nape (reggie) cage.  I'd come home to listen to my
    messages and the would have allready been read, I'd ask my
    hubby and he would say "no" I did'nt read them. So we just shruged
    it off..then some of our friends would tell us, Hey you picked up
    the phone and yelled "Hello" then hung up..why did you do that??
    and we would tell them it was'nt us..So we stared to get saspicias
    so Reggie,,well it could'nt be..
    
    Sure enogh we were home and and the phone rang and we could'nt
    get to it in time, and sure enogh Reggie answered it..and he plays
    back the messages and listens to them, and errases the messages and
    he talks to the people..it is so funny..so we let him answer it all
    the time..
    
    does anyone out there have there very own personal bird answering
    machine??

    That's great! can you teach our yellow nape?? Then when we aren't
    home, we have our own phone answering machine.

    I wish I could take the credit for it, but Reggie did it all
    on his own..I should go on Dave Letterman and do some of the
    "stupid pet tricks"
