| | Hi,

I have seen some stuff real similiar to this. Not called the same
however. The only people I know who use it, use it for snacks or
treats, not as a replacement to their normal diet. I'm always looking
for things that my birds will like to eat and try to give them a
varried diet with a good balance of minerals and vitamins. If there
is not a complete breakdown of all the ingredients in this mixture
clearly on the packaging, then I would be a little cautious otherwise
if the ingredients are on the packaging, you can take them to your
vet for review on what each is and if its good for your bird. I
did this with a pellet diet called ROUDY BUSH. My vet liked it,
but my birds liked the LAKES better.

| | hi,

A lot of pet shops swear by this brand and also abba brand food. But I
have heard that all that food coloring gets lodged in the birds liver
over a long period of time. If God intended peanuts to have green
shells then they would! I feed my cockatoos only all natural seeds,
fruits, and vegetables (green, leafy, yellow, and white) all
thoroughly washed of course. yellow: corn (raw), squash. white: raw
    cauliflower, green: broccli,collard greens,e.t.c.

| | I buy Abba brand food because it seems the freshest (to me) and the
birds really chow down on it. Abba dyes bread crumbs and an occasional
seed. My finches must know that it's dye because I always find a pile
of uneated sunflower seeds and colored thingies at the bottom of the
cage. At first I was picking out the colored stuff because I didn't
think it was good for them, but now I don't have to. Some pet stores
claim there is vitamins in the dye, but I don't think I believe that.
