	DEC FDDIcontroller (DEFPA/DEFEA) NDIS 4.0 miniport
	drivers now available for Internal field Test

v4.01T of the new DEFPA and DEFEA drivers are now available for
internal field test.  These new drivers support all DEFPA and DEFEA
variants on both Alpha and Intel versions of Windows NT 4.0.
These new drivers are NDIS 4 compliant and also provide support for the
new NICWORKS/FDDI management application.  Each driver will be part of
a new software kit that, when released, will drop support for Windows
NT 3.5.  Note, there will be driver support for Windows NT 3.51 
and NT 4.0.

To keep control of the driver kit distribution, I've already sent mail
to individuals with prior interest in the drivers.  If you did not receive
that mail and are interested in having the driver kit pointer, please
send email to NETCAD::TERPENING.

Once the driver kit is stable for a wider distribution, it will be made
available on all of the public areas.
