2257.0. "RESET HORIZONTAL PITCH ON LA120" by TAV02::CHAIM (Semper ubi Sub ubi .....) Sun May 04 1997 09:44

I realize I am digging into some prehistort, BUT:

LA120

Should <ESC>c RESET the horizontal pitch back to 10 cpi if <ESC>[4w was issued.

I have a customer who says that it doesn't work for him.

Thanks,

Cb.

You could have him try the sequence to set it to 10cpi, <esc>[1w.

This is what he is currently doing, but this customer is a real "stickler" and
if RESET is supposed to work, then he wants to know why it doesn't work for his
LA120.

Thanks,

Cb.

Check the setup mode to see if the default pitch is set to 10 cpi. If
I had to guess a printer reset would reset the printer back to this value.

The DEFAULT pitch is 10 cpi, nevertheless the <ESC>c does NOT reset this.
