This page lists a number of Internet electronic mailing lists
that are of potentially direct interest to SCCA Members. There
are a multitude of other lists available on the list; to see
the full list-of-lists in text file form, click here. This page
shamelessly stolen then updated from Richard Welty's SCCA page.
General Lists
Autox (Solo II)
The autocross list is primarily for discussion of Solo II and
similar sports as practiced by other clubs.
Send to [email protected] to join. The majordomo
program at this address expects a request in the body of the
email message such as
subscribe autox
majordomo will determine an email address from the message header,
although one may be optionally supplied in the subscription request.
A digest version is available; the content is identical to the
regular list, but some find digest form easier to deal with.

Rally
The rally list is primarily for discussions relating to TSD
rallying as practiced in the SCCA, and by other clubs.
Send to [email protected] to join. The listserv
program expects a request in the body such as

A digest version is available; the content is identical to the
regular list, but some find digest form easier to deal with.
The command to join the digest is

Listserv will determine an email address from the message header.
Wheel To Wheel
The wheeltowheel list is for discussions relating to actual
racing. Solo I could also be discussed here, but rarely is.
Send to [email protected] to join. The
list is managed by an actual human, so please be patient with
subscription requests.
Specific Lists
American Sedan
The ASedan list is for discussion of the recently introduced
and very popular road racing class known as "American Sedan".
Cars raced are Camaros, Firebirds, and Mustangs with 5.0 Liter
motors.

Race Car Fabrication
Send to [email protected] to join. Administrative
requests are handled by a human being, so far as I know.
Marshall (Flagging)
There is a list based in England for marshalls, what we
call flaggers. I've lost the address for it but I am looking.
If you know it, please send it to me. If you want to join,

Vintage Racing
The Vintage Racing list is for about what you expect.

Regional Lists
New England Region, SCCA
The NER list is for discussions relating to the activities of
the New England Region of the SCCA. This includes Road Racing,
Solo II (Autocross), Time-Speed-Distance Rallies, special
events and policies and procedures. NER is based in Maine, New
Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Conneticut, and Rhode Island.

Subj: NER Rally
The first event in the 1996 NER-SCCA Rally Championship series is
Snow & Ice '96, which will take place on February 3, 1996.
Details and an entry form follow:
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly.
Snow & Ice '96 will be a straight-forward TSD rally of approximately 130
miles, and is suited for inexperienced as well as seasoned rallyists. The
rally starts at the Colonial Bed & Breakfast in Gardner, MA. and travels
the back roads to Brattleboro, VT for lunch. After lunch the rally
returns to Gardner, MA. The rally makes use of both paved and unpaved
roads. Both open controls and DIYs will be used. The rally is being
hosted by the Touring Club of New England and should be sanctioned by the
New England Region of the Sports Car Club of America. (NER SCCA)
GENERAL: Snow & Ice '96 will be run in compliance with the 1987 NER-SCCA
Rally Regulations as amended. Vehicles must have at least all-season
radials. Snow tires are strongly recommended. SUMMER TIRES ARE NOT
ALLOWED. General Instructions will be mailed to all pre-registrants on
Friday, January 19, 1996.
START: The Colonial Bed & Breakfast, located at 625 Betty Spring Road,
Gardner, MA. Friday night (2 February) Registration, Tech Inspection, and
Hospitality from 6:00pm-9:00pm. A Novice School will be taught at 8:00pm
Friday night. Saturday Morning (3 February) Registration from 7-8am.
Lunch break in Brattleboro, VT. The Colonial Bed & Breakfast is holding a
block of rooms until January 19. The cost for two persons including
dinner and breakfast is $69 (don't forget to tip your waitress). Mention
"Snow & Ice '96" when you call for reservations. Phone # 800.484.1190
code 6240. To get to The Colonial Bed & Breakfast take Route 140 North
off of Route 2 in Gardner MA, left on Betty Spring Road, left into The
Colonial Bed & Breakfast.
FINISH: The Colonial Bed & Breakfast, Gardner, MA. First Car finishes
about 5:00pm, Dinner at 6:30pm followed by awards presentation about
8:00pm. Dancing at 9:00pm See START for accommodations.
