Mailing Lists of Interest to SCCA members

This page lists a number of Internet electronic mailing lists
that are of potentially direct interest to SCCA Members. There
are a multitude of other lists available on the list; to see
the full list-of-lists in text file form, click here. This page
shamelessly stolen then updated from Richard Welty's SCCA page.

General Lists

Autox (Solo II)
The autocross list is primarily for discussion of Solo II and
similar sports as practiced by other clubs.

Send to [email protected] to join. The majordomo
program at this address expects a request in the body of the
   email message such as

   subscribe autox

majordomo will determine an email address from the message header,
although one may be optionally supplied in the subscription request.
A digest version is available; the content is identical to the
regular list, but some find digest form easier to deal with.
The command to join the digest is

   subscribe ax-digest

Rally
The rally list is primarily for discussions relating to TSD
rallying as practiced in the SCCA, and by other clubs.

Send to [email protected] to join. The listserv
program expects a request in the body such as

   subscribe rally-l Joe T. User

A digest version is available; the content is identical to the
regular list, but some find digest form easier to deal with.
The command to join the digest is

   subscribe rally-digest Joe T. User

Listserv will determine an email address from the message header.

Wheel To Wheel
The wheeltowheel list is for discussions relating to actual
racing. Solo I could also be discussed here, but rarely is.

Send to [email protected] to join. The
list is managed by an actual human, so please be patient with
   subscription requests.

Specific Lists

American Sedan
The ASedan list is for discussion of the recently introduced
and very popular road racing class known as "American Sedan".
Cars raced are Camaros, Firebirds, and Mustangs with 5.0 Liter
   motors.

Send requests to join to [email protected].

Race Car Fabrication
Send to [email protected] to join. Administrative
requests are handled by a human being, so far as I know.

Marshall (Flagging)
There is a list based in England for marshalls, what we
call flaggers. I've lost the address for it but I am looking.
If you know it, please send it to me. If you want to join,
   check back here later. (11/13/95)

Vintage Racing
The Vintage Racing list is for about what you expect.

send to [email protected] to join. The majordomo program
at this address expects a request in the body of the email
   message such as

the New England Region of the SCCA. This includes Road Racing,
Solo II (Autocross), Time-Speed-Distance Rallies, special
events and policies and procedures. NER is based in Maine, New
Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Conneticut, and Rhode Island.

form easier to deal with. The command to join the digest is

   subscribe newenglandregionscca-digest Joe T. User
