    Don't know if this belongs in its own note, but here goes.  I'm looking
    for information on North Carolina Motor Speedway (better known, I
    think, as Rockingham).
    
    We're going down at the end of May for an SCCA event and was wondering
    about 1) track configuration, and 2) any recommended hotels nearby.
    The track sent us a list of hotels, etc. but I really don't want to
    call them all if you folks have some experience in the area.  They also
    couldn't tell me anything about the road course.

    I'd call Bette French at home and get the Southeast Divisional names
    and phone numbers to call. I have a 1989 SCCA directory but I'm sure
    she has one that's more current. Mine has someone listed in charge of
    "Valet parking"!!! Sounds like a new specialty...
