314.0. "High Performance Ford 2300 manual." by RMDSRV::VELASQUEZ (No Money,No Money,No Money) Tue Nov 24 1992 12:28

    Looking for a manual such as "High Performance for the Ford 2300"

    Does anyone know of such a manual available??? I've seen it for all
    the other common stuff such as ford, chevy, nopar v-8's but haven't
    seen one for the 4cyl. 2300's.

314.1Info is available for Ford SOHC enginesWMOIS::GAVIN_BFri Dec 11 1992 08:5317
    David Vizard wrote such a book a few years ago, I think it's still
    available. If you can't find it on the shelf, you might try
    MotorBooks International or Steve Smith.

    Esslinger Engineering and Racer Walsh do quite a bit with these
    engines, their catalogs would probably have some good info.

    Ashford Engineering (Shady Lane, Nashua NH) has cams and valve gear.

    BAP-GEON has Weber carbs and Manifolds.

    In 2-liter form, these engines are used in SCCA FF2000 and S2 cars,
    but the mods allowed are probably more limited than you are looking
    for.

    BILL,
    THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY ON MY REQUEST FOR MANUALS. I CALLED A LOCAL
    BOOKSTORE AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ONLY MANUALS THIS DAVID VIZARD PRODUCED
    WERE CHEVY RELATED. MIGHT YOU HAVE ANY OTHER NAMES OF AUTHORS BESIDE
    HIM?
    THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.
