Could anyone give me names and nunbers of places to stay close to Lime
Rock. We're headed down to the IMSA 300 ? this weekend and are looking
for lodging Saturday night. We're not picky, just a clean place to
sleep.

The Interlaken is awfully expensive. We've stayed at The Depot in
Sheffield, Mass (about 20 minutes from the track, $55/nite, lousy TV
reception but clean, sort of on the '50s style of decor, guy's into
model trains) and the Willows in Amenia, NY (914 373 8090, $40/nite,
about 12 miles from the track, B&W TV, again '50's decor, nice
restaurant right across the street. There's always the Sharon Motor
Inn, about 6 miles from the track, but I don't think you'd get a room
there at this late a date.
