Hi, Don't know if this note qualifies for timing and scoring however here goes... I looking to find some software that will run on a "LAPTOP" to do some of the things a team currently does manually at the track such as lap times, setups, etc... Anyone with any ideas or info??? Chris.

302.1 | A simple timing program | NYTP04::JANKOWITZ | Twisty little passages all alike | Wed Aug 05 1992 15:54 | 16 |
I know one company is in the middle of writting that software. There is a simple timing program I wrote which only times one car. It keeps the current lap time running in the corner. It writes the times and lap numbers to a file. The program is - NYTP05::LAPS.EXE For my curiosity, if anyone copies it, please send me mail. Thanks, Glenn P.S. Because of the clock in the PC, the times are only good to about 5/100 second. | |||||

Glenn, As you requested, I copied the software. Any chance of getting the source? Bruce p.s. I'm also interested in any racing software for the laptop to use at the track. Especially any software for tracking and monitoring set-ups. |
