There is a two day driving class at Lime Rock this Friday and Saturday.
They need more participants (many spaces are available).

Total novices should plan on attending Friday.

If interested, call Charles Borden at 914-968-5700(w) or 914-725-1274(h).

Tell him I referred you...

As far as I'm concerned, there is no problem with that. Please go right ahead.

One need not have one's own car, but cars are not provided (that is, multiple
drivers of a "shared vehicle" are permitted, as long as the car passes tech).

Regarding vehicles: there was no specific "must be at least as good as..."
specification, but a three-point stock safety belt or better is required.
Also convertibles must have roll bars, and everyone must use an approved helmet.
Definitely call Charles Borden if you need details. He is quite good about
answering his phone, and wants to have this be a good event.

Today I received another notice from the Internet, about an open track
session at Waterford Hills near Detroit on September 1. Details were
lacking but are supposed to follow, the message was an early alert in
case anyone wanted to mark their calendars. I'm mentioning it here for
that reason, so if you are interested let me know to post the details
    when they come through.
