    	Can anyone out there give me details on the upcoming race at
    Thompson Speedway in Thompson Ct? I understand there is a big event 
    scheduled for the weekend  of Oct 13th/14th.
    What kind of cars will be racing that weekend? What time, admission
    $$$, start time. Directions to the speedway will be helpful too.
    Any and all info appreciated.
    Anyone from Salem area heading down there that weekend?

	Just started reading this conference today. I do happen to know that the Thompson race that you were talking about on Oct. 13/14 has been rescheduled for this weekend. It is usally opened up to the public around noon. We usually follow Route 290 through Worcester. I can;t give you much better directions as I have only ridden and not paid much attention as to where we were getting off. Someplace around exit 100 I believe. The sign should say Thompson Ct though. There will be the regular race line-up I believe such as Late Models, Street Stocks and Mini-Modifys. Also I believe the Midgets will have the option of running there or in Lee N.H. If you are coming down from Salem wouldn't Lee be alittle closer. It is right on RT. 125 in Lee N.H. They are also racing Saturday and Sunday. Again there will be Late Models, Street Stocks, Pro STocks, Hobby Stocks, and more. They start at noon time with practices and racing begins at 2. The admission is usually around $8 general and $10 Pit. Due to it being the last race and a special race (Octoberfest) I'm sure the prices will go up some. I know about this race because my Husband is racing in it. Which ever you perfer I hope you enjoy yourself.
