| I like all the names you have on the list...
even though Olivia has an "l" ... I think it's fine because the "l"
is early in the name (not at the end, like say Emily or Michelle for
example).
I don't know why, but Monica popped in my head. It was a name my
hubby like when I was pregnant (had a boy). It sounds good with
your last name. I really like Courtney a lot. Here's some ideas
for combinations ...
Olivia Renee Lyons
" Nicole Lyons
" Taylor Lyons
" McKenzie Lyons
Stephanie Rose Lyons
" Nicole Lyons
" Paige Lyons
" Taylor Lyons
Courtney Renee or Rose Lyons
" Robyn Lyons
" Marie Lyons
" Frances Lyons
" Alesia/Alicia Lyons
Kathleen Rebecca Lyons
" Diane Lyons
" Renee Lyons
" Ashley Lyons
" Amanda Lyons
Best of luck in the naming game! So what's the boys name? My husband
and I were the same way, had a boys name - no questions about it, but
girls names we couldn't agree on - to the last day (thankfully, we
didn't have to make that decision, we had a boy - Mitchell Dean).
Keep us posted as you narrow your list.

986.2 | Courtney Amanda? | WAMMEY::MEHRING | | Fri Jul 07 1995 18:08 | 7 |
| Oops, I guess I should've read this one first...
Actually, I love the sound of Courtney Amanda Lyons! Or Olivia Kathleen Lyons.
Or Stephanie Jayne Lyons...
Good luck in the search,
-Cori

986.3 | Olivia Brooke Lyons | AXPBIZ::MEHRING | | Mon Jul 10 1995 18:16 | 12 |
| I thought of a nice middle name for Olivia - Brooke. I think it sounds
really good with Lyons too.
Let's see, a few more:
Olivia Kay Lyons
Olivia Tami Lyons
Olivia Zoe Lyons
Olivia Francis Lyons
Not an easy one... Good luck!

Thank you for the suggestions. I have really been working my husband
on excepting the name Olivia. I don't know why, but I really like it.
I like some of the middle names that were suggested as well. Maybe he
would go for it if I chose Olivia Kathleen?! We'll check that out
tonight!
Thank you again,
Serena

If it's a boy....Christopher John (C.J. Lyons)

986.5 | Hmmmmm... | FOUNDR::PLOURDE | | Wed Jul 12 1995 17:34 | 10 |
| Christopher John (C.J.) Lyons ... what a nice name! How come it's
always easier for a couple to decide a name for one gender than for
the other? My hubby and I were the same (had a boy's name, no
questions asked - but couldn't agree on a girls name). Huh...
Good luck - keep us posted as time goes on and you narrow the choices.

Well, it's been almost a year and I've been out of this conference for
just as long.
RE; -1
We did go with Kathleen Olivia! And it fits her beautifully! We had
the names narrowed down to Courtney Elizabeth and Kathleen Olivia. She
came really close to being named Courtney but then when we had our bath
lesson with the nurse (how to care for the umbilical cord, etc. etc.)
she screamed all through it and her Dad thought that Kathleen matched
her "Irish temper" better!
She'll be a year next month and she's the most beautiful little girl in
the world! Of course I think I might be a little bias! :)
Thank you again for those who had helped out.
