Hi Gang, Well I have 4 weeks to go and I'm writing to get some last minute opinions on the name Austin. We have a daughter who is 4, and her name is Alexa Jeane Mazur --we know that our second is a boy and we are planning to name him Austin Robert. I have heard so many mixed opinions on this name that I am VERY interested in what you baby-namers have to say. Please hurry--time is running out!!! Thanks, Sheryl

Hi Sheryl, I think Austin goes well with Alexa. On the other hand, I was luke warm about the name itself when I first heard it. The more I hear it, the more I like it. Also, I prefer Austin to a nickname like Aussie. Yes, I would give a "yes" vote for Austin Robert Mazur. And best of luck to both of you. Chris

We were going to name our baby Austin Scott if it was a boy. Scott is my husbands name. We ended up having a girl and naming her Kassandra Florence. The reason we liked Austin was that is an uncommon name. I, like the previous noter like Austin with your other child Alexa. Good Luck, Cheryl

I like it -- we were going to use it but thought Austin Woods souded like a subdivison name! Karen |
