933.0. "BODDY" by WEAR::BODDY (Slaven was born offside !!!) Thu Feb 17 1994 08:27

    	Hi ,

my wife is expecting her second child in September .
We called our first child Paige Josephine .

Her first name was important because of my surname
which is BODDY . Therfore we had to choose a name
that did not end in 'Y' or could be shortened to
end in 'Y' . Names ending in Y and followed by
    	BODDY just doesn't sound nice . ( i.e. Nicky Boddy )

After we choosed Paige I pointed out she would then
    	be ' P. Boddy ' . Again this wasn't right , so we
    	added a second name .

So do you have any suggestions for names please ?

    Hi Bill,

I am also looking for boy and girl names that don't end in "Y" or
that could be abbreviated with that sound ending, too. My niece
has asked me to find a name to go with Li (LEE) so she has the same
consideration(this is another note in here). By the way, I love
    the name Paige Josephine.

    Mark Christine
    Paul	Leah
    Peter	Jane

Are you looking for middle names, too, or do you have family names you
    want to use?

    	Chris ,

yeah we'll be looking for middle names as well . We couldn't
give one child one and not the other .
Are you based in the states ?
I'm based in the U.K. and Paige is a very unusual name in
England . I noticed it mentioned quite a lot in the notes
    	conference though .

The names you suggested are very popular in England .

    Hi Bill,
Yes, I am from the U.S. Paige is not very unusual here, but
it is not that common, either. You mentioned all the names
I listed are very popular, does that mean you are looking for
names that are not as common/popular?

    How do these sound:

    Everett	Gail
    Nelson Jill
    Norman June
    Roger Anne

Bill,

I like the name Matthew Boddy as suggested by Chris. Here are a few more
that came to mind that I think sound good and fit nicely with Paige
Josephine:

Nathan Tyler Boddy	Elise Samantha Boddy
Damien Edward Boddy	Dana Jillian Boddy
Chad William Boddy	Erica Jayne Boddy
Austin James Boddy	Allison Raye Boddy
Simon Nicholas Boddy	Alicia Diane Boddy
Blake Richard Boddy	Heather Joelle Boddy
Brendan Keith Boddy	Kirsten Michelle Boddy

By the way, what is your wife's name? Any other family names as contenders
for middle-names?

These names are coming from California, U.S.A.!

Good luck in the search,
-Cori
