| What you say makes sense, but just because your daughter was 9lb...
that doesn't mean she will "always" be a "big" girl. A friend of mine
weighed 10lb at birth and now is 5'4 and weighs around 105!
But, I do know what you mean about "what name a baby looks like". It
is so true. I always tell people, that once I see my baby, I may
change my mind completly on a name !!
So do you call your daughter ALexis now or Natasha Alexis? They are
both very PRETTY names! Are you Russian at all? My grandparents were
born there. My maiden name is Shepeluk. Is you ever have a baby BOY,
the name NICOLAI would go WONDERFULLY with Natasha!! (pronounce
Nick-o-Lie. I LOVE the name, but my husband doens;t think it sounds
good with Phelan. Oh well.

I agree about names fitting the child. When I was pregnant with my
daughter I had long decided on a girl's name of Anna Sophia, knowing
that if I had a girl she would have dark hair and eyes. Well, she does
(she's a little Greek girl, spitting image of her dad), but if she had
come out a redhead (there is a possibility) I would of had a hard time
naming her Anna Sophia since I had such a picture in my mind what she
(Anna) would look like.

I mostly call Natasha......."Natasha"..........and of course when she's
in trouble (and Mommys trying to keep calm in a situation) she's called
Natasha Alexis. I sometime call her Tashi..........she seems to like
it.........that's what her little daycare friends call her. She's
picked up the name "The Goil" from my parents and that kinda stuck too.
I'm Irish and my Husbands Italian/French but we both love Russian
names. I'll add Nicolai to my 3x5 index card of baby names.

Natasha at the age of 2 year 1 month is at 90% percentile for height &
80% percentile for weight.........so she's a "big" girl. She's loosing
her wonderful "chucka" thighs...but shes still solid. I can hardly
carry her anymore......I usually will hold her until I can't feel my
arms anymore or my back gives out on me.
