would go well with your first son's name, too...Matt and Don.
The other name I thought of was David...David Milton Whitmore. Then
you would have Matt and Dave.
I like Sarah Marie for a girl. It sounds good with your last name.

I thought of a few suggestions for first names with Donald as the middle name
that also go well with Matthew. Sorry, but I'm not too keen on the name Milton
(although I do understand the sentimental value of such family names)...

will probably end up going with Donald as a middle name - your

| I have to say that, I, too, think that Milton is just an absolutely
horrible name (Uncle Miltie is the first thing that comes to mind), and
I sincerely hope you choose not to inflict it on your son.
Donald is too common for my taste, but is far better than Milton.

| Well, folks, it's getting closer to my due date and we still cannot
come up with a boys name. I'm looking for suggestions for ANYTHING
that goes with the last name of Whitmore (the more I toss around
the name Donald with various other names, I'm convinced I don't
want to name my baby that!!!) Thanks for your help. Lila

| well, we MIGHT have narrowed it down to Logan or Jared for the
first name. My husband likes Logan Wade Whitmore and Jared
Michael Whitmore. I like Logan, but not Wade - Jared Michael
is ok. Does anyone have any suggestions for middle names
to go with Logan or Jared? Thanks. Lila

| Thanks for those suggestions Chris! My husband is SOOOOOO
hard to please sometimes, though. He didn;t like any of them!
I really like Logan, and he says if I can come up with a middle
name that sounds good with it, he'll say ok. But everything
I suggest he turns down!! Jared Michael is the only name we
can agree on, and I don;t like Jared as much as Logan! Oh well!!
I would have thought he;d like Logan Michael, but no way! My
next plan is to go back thru our family trees and see what names
I can find. Our first son shares his middle name with his maternal
great grandfather, so perhaps if I can find some name with "family
ties" he'll go along with it! Thanks for your suggestions,

Boy, sounds like he's being pretty tough on this one... Just remember
though that after labor/delivery, you should have more pull in the
decision! I also prefer Logan to Jared, and think Logan Michael is
just about perfect, but here are a few more possibilities for you to
try with your husband:

| Cori - Thank you thank you thank you! I will take that list
home and see what he says!! I spent this past week "back home"
and went thru our family trees - came up with a couple of
suggestions that he's mulling over (Logan William and Logan James) -

Logan Marshall Whitmore. We made our final decision
a few days before he was born (which was 10 days past
