849.0. "name for baby Wenners" by QETOO::WENNERS () Tue Jan 12 1993 08:02

    Hi,

    We are expecting our second child in mid-June. Our first son's name is
    Spencer Thomas Wenners, and boy did we have many debates before
    agreeing on his name. So far this time around it is not much easier to
    choose names we both like.

    I think we have agreed upon a girls name - Monica Suzanne Wenners????

    Now for boys names - these are ideas that have been put on the table:

    	Luke Martin Wenners
    	Brett Joseph Wenners
    	Blake Louis Wenners
    	Trevor ???? Wenners
    	Any other ideas?????????

    Thanks for any inputs.
    Joanne & Tom

    Congratulations.

    I like Monica Suzanne for a girl's name. For the boys name, I
    like Blake Joseph. In my opinion, Monica and Blake match well
    with Spencer. I like Blake Joseph better than Blake Louis -
    the latter has too many L sounds for me.

    Best of luck,

    Chris
849.2Another vote for Blake Joseph/Monica SuzanneAMCUCS::MEHRINGTue Jan 12 1993 12:5512
Joanne,

It's funny, but I have to concur with Chris -- before I even read her
reply I reasoned the same way that Blake Joseph sounded better to me than
Blake Louis (and it seems to look better too, since I like the two names
to balance out, rather than have 2 short ones or 2 long ones).

Anyway, I do like Monica Suzanne Wenners for a girl - you're lucky to have
agreement (I'm assuming you do) this early on one side at least!

Good luck,
-Cori
849.3LUKE has my voteCIVIC::CANTWELLWed Jan 13 1993 13:1616
    I happen to like LUKE. My son's name is Luke Jerold (Bradish). We're
    "supposed" to be having a girl in late February. Last time around, I
    had Abigail for a girl's name. So we're still planning to use that
    (unless something else comes up that I really like). I am staying
    away from names ending in "a" or "y". We already have (in my family)
    Johnna, Alyssa, Sarah, Samantha, Corey, Chelsea, Zachary, Gregory.

    Last week I came home with Erin, which would sound really good with
    Bradish, but it didn't go over well. So it still looks like Abigail
    (she'll be called Abbey). If we get surprised with a boy, my husband
    thinks Jake goes well with Luke. But I'm not crazy about it.

    It better be a girl -- I already bought a few girls outfits and a
    picture for HER room!!
