| Congratulations!
I like your girls names and would add the following two:
Shannon Marie
Nicole Christine
For the boys names, Joshua Michael sounds good to me. I also
like Andrew Michael, but not Drew Michael. My son's name is
Jonathan Andrew, but by 3rd grade, he started going by Jon, and
few of his friends even realize "Jonathan" is his "real" name.
Best of luck to you.

| Hey, I vote for Shannon Marie!!!
Every Shannon I run into, I ask her middle name-quite a few Shannon
Marie's. It's easy to yell too, Shan Marie!!! :-)

| I'm kind of partial to Shannon Elizabeth which is my daughter's name.
But with your last name, I think Nicole sounds better.
I also like Andrew with your last name.
good luck.

| Well, my votes would be for:
Shannon Margaret (a bit different than Marie and meaningful, too ;-)
or Leslie Nicole
and
Nathan Michael
or Andrew Michael
I do like Matthew too, but there is the teasing-potential if your child grows
up around that Matt Garrett's chain...
Best of luck!
-Cori(nne) Marie (always thought of Marie as not that imaginative for a middle-
name...just MHO)

| Hi Lynn!
Isn't this fun?!?? :^)
I especially like Shannon Christina Gerrits. I like it better than
Shannon Christine because it has a better rhythm -- a 2-3-2 syllable
rhythm is better than 2-2-2 syllables according to one of our many
babyname books. And besides that, Shannon Christina is so pretty
and feminine!
My second choice for your girl would be Nicole Elizabeth. I have
considered Nicole, but worried that it is becoming very popular.
I'm not sure if it is, and I've gotten to the point that I'm not
going to worry about a name's popularity TOO much.
For a boy, I like Joshua. I really like Jonathan, (Jonathon,
or Johnathon), but you said you didn't like John or Jon, so maybe that
isn't the best choice. I like Joshua Michael Gerrits, and Josh is a
nice nickname. His mom can always call him Joshua even if no one else
does and that will be special, right?
How come it is so much easier to give suggestions to others? And my
poor child will probably be called Baby Strogis for the first few days
of its life! :^)

| I would not have considered any other name but Shannon for my daughter
since it had a lot of meaning at her birth....but, it doesn't shorten
nice at all, and it is a lot to say in a hurry.....just for
you to keep in mind!!!
