| I think with a good Italian sounding name like Balboni you should name
him something like
Richard (richie) Balboni
or
Rocky
or
Anthony
or
Paul
or
Daniel
or
Eric
or
Patrick
or
DOMINIC (yeah)
Dominic Balboni

| Oh, I take Anthony back.
Tony Balboni sounds silly. Reminds my of any Character Andrew Dice
Clay might portray.

Balboa.

fight fan.
How about.......
Fonzi Balboni?

| I like Andrew, and prefer the nickname Andy to Drew (when I hear Drew I
think of Drew Barrymore, who is a girl).
And Re: .8, Fonzie's first name was Arthur. :^)

| How about the old standby - John Balboni???
You could modify it to Jonathan, or hyphenate it
with another name like John-Paul or John-James to
make it a bit more uncommon, but I think it sounds
good with your last name (and I've known some great
Italians named John!)
There's always Salvatore, Frank, Joseph, David...
I also like Rick Balboni or Nick Balboni -- basicallly
the shorter names seem to work the best.
Good luck!

| Hi -
I like Shawn/Sean but there so irish. John/Jonathan sounds good.
What about....
Adam Jeffrey
Alexander Jeffrey (Alex for short)
David Jeffrey
My brother's name is Jeffrey Mark...so I'm kind of partial to that
name. When are you due, anyways?

I agree with .16. Shawn/Sean is too Irish sounding for Balboni,
in my opinion.

Shawn Balboni
It positively FLOWS!

790.19 | Jonathan Jeffrey | KYOA::CHANG | | Tue Jun 02 1992 11:57 | 9 |
| I like John/Jonathan with Balboni. But didn't you want Jeffrey for
a middle name? That would be Jonathan Jeffrey Balboni or
John Jeffrey Balboni
The two J's together might be too much (depending on your preference,
of course). Just thought I'd point it out. (My son is Jonathan
Andrew and he has been going by Jon since about 4th grade).

790.20 | Vincent Balboni? | CNTROL::STOLICNY | | Tue Jun 02 1992 14:10 | 10 |
|
I personally like the sound of Vince(nt) Balboni and think it
is a nice complement to the older son's name, Nick Balboni.
However, I'm not sure I like Vincent Jeffrey Balboni.
One other name that comes to mind is Thomas Jeffrey Balboni;
Tom Balboni. David Jeffrey, as someone else mentioned earlier,
is another nice choice.

790.24 | Stephen Balboni??? | RTOEU::KRICKS | There is no place like home.... | Thu Jun 25 1992 07:50 | 7 |

Michael Balboni
Peter Balboni
/Kim

790.25 | Vic Balboni | KYOA::CHANG | | Thu Jun 25 1992 11:46 | 10 |
| On the same lines as Vincent, how about Victor:
Victor Jeffrey Balboni
Then you will have a Nick and a Vic. Don't know if that appeals or
not. But I do like Vic Balboni- just ethnical enough. And if the two
boys aren't very close in age, there is little likelihood of calling
them at the same time.

790.26 | "The Toms and Johns have it!" | 29749::ANCTIL | | Mon Jul 06 1992 16:42 | 14 |
| Well I have been reading through all these suggestions and agree with
the Johns and Toms. I have two Italian brothers, our last name sounds
similar to yours. There names are:
John Angelo Trongone
Thomas Angelo Trongone Jr.
The middle names ended up the same because my older brother was named
after my grandfather (his middle name), and my younger brother's entire
name is after my father, so they all have the same middle name. I guess
you can do that!!
Good Luck

I like Samantha. It's not common, but popular enough that she'll be
able to get pencil's and license plates with her name on it!!! That's
important to a kid...I could never get them when I was pup.....
If you go with Benjamin, is your husband also going to insist on using
his full name?? I always felt uncomfortable using someone's full name.
I guess as he gets older, he can decide what he wants to be called.
Well, best of luck, and keep us updated!!!!

790.29 | Ben Balboni | KYOA::CHANG | | Mon Jul 27 1992 10:03 | 5 |
| I like both of the girl's names and the boy's names until I put one
of the boy's names with the last name...Ben Balboni. I think that
would be an easy name to be teased with. Just my opinion of course.

790.32 | How about Mitchell? | IYQ2::PLOURDE | | Wed Nov 18 1992 13:09 | 21 |
| I don't know when you need the name by.. in note .27 you say that
you have until november... well, it's November and I happened to
be looking in this file.
How about Mitchell?? Mitchell Jeffrey? I think that sounds nice
and goes well will Balboni.
My husband and I are expecting our first in April... we have pretty
much decided on Mitchell as the first name (if it's a boy). The
middle name is still in question, but we've got time on our side.
My hubby likes Logan for a middle name... Mitchell Logan. I'm not
sure about it, but we'll see.
Having a hard time with girls names, so it'll probably be a girl!
Best of luck!
