-< "R" French Girl Names >-
Hello,
My husband and I are looking for girls names. It has to start with an
"R" and we would like it to be French. I have read notes 62, 179, 485
and 652. The names that we have come up with so far are:
French
Randelle * (Randi for short - we made this up, what do you think??)
I've always hated my own name - but its French and begins with an
"R".
Signed,
Rochelle Marie
P.S. Expecting a boy in August - who needs an Irish name!

| Many years ago, I knew a woman called Randi. She was Italian, and
it was short for Renatta. I think Randy is cute.
For other R names:
Rita
Roxanne
Roselle
Regina
Rossilyn
Chris

Here in the UK, I wouldn't call a child Randy ... it has a rather
unsavoury "slang" meaning!

| My brother's name is Randall, nickname Randy. To me, it has that male
connotation.
And he IS cute! :^)

I like Randi for a girl, as well as Renee. Never could stand Rachel
(which I thought was english, as opposed to Rachelle). And I am rather
partial to Raquel...
-raquel, who often goes by just "quelle", which is french.....
