| Hi Laura,
Could you tell us how your last name is pronounced (bell-ee-voh?).
I'm sure one of these talented noters will come up with some keen
suggestions!

Hi,
Yes, you are right in the pronounceation (SP) - it can go both ways -
the french way of saying it is (BELL-EE-VOH) and other people say it
(BELL-EE-VIEW) - so either way is correct.
I am very interested in people's suggestions.
Thanks again,
Laura

766.3 | Renee or Luke? | TIPTOE::STOLICNY | | Thu Feb 27 1992 08:50 | 28 |
| Hi Laura,
Can you throw out some ideas of names that you've been considering?
That can usually help people make suggestions as they can get a
feel for the "types" of names that you like (i.e. old-fashioned,
unusual, French, etc). As a general rule, I think that a one or
two syllable name would sound best with the 3-syllable last name.
The first girls' name that came to my mind was Renee, because
it is French, because it sounds nice with the last name (either
pronounciation!), and because it is a pretty, but not overly
popular name.
The first boys' name that came to mind was Luke (or Luc) for the
same reasons as above.
Other ideas:
Rachel
Renee
Lisa
Derek
Thomas
Steven
Good luck,
Carol

766.4 | Yvon/Yvonne | CIVIC::FAHEL | Amalthea Celebras/Silver Unicorn | Thu Feb 27 1992 09:15 | 4 |
| My first thought was Yvonne...I love the name Yvonne with Belleveau.
Or even the male version, Yvon.

I really like the name Renee and Rachael- those were names I had been
considering. Other names that I like are:
Megan
Ashley
Jenna
Paige
Sheila
Ryan
Brandon
Dylan
Those were some girls and boys names I liked - and wasn't sure if they
really went with Belliveau. What do you think?

| I think all those go well with Belliveau, with the exception of Brandon
(to many B's?). I'm especially partial to Jenna. A name I really like
is Emma, sounds a lot like Jenna. Something French would be neat with
your last name, too: Christian/Christiane
Romain
...So many possibilties!

| Thanks for all these great responses - we certainly have alot of
choices/suggestions to go by - now all I have to do is share these with
my husband and see what we both agree on.
Thanks and keep the suggestions coming.
