I am due December 22 and my husband and I are starting to think about
names. We have narrowed it down to two for a girl but I really only
have one I like for a boy. What do you think about these names? And
does anyone have suggestions for boys? please keep in mind I like
regular names for boy (ie; Bob,Dan,Steve,Jim, etc)
Girls Boys
----- ----
Shalynne Rose Douglas Alain
Victoria Lynn ???Micheal Joseph????
Rose is my middle name and my husbands name is Daniel Alain, we
thought Douglas was close. We don't want a Jr.
Any suggestions/comments will be appreciated.
Thanks.

I like Victoria Lynn from your girls choices. I'm not too keen on
Shalynne (never heard of it, is it an original?). I think
Valerie Rose and Shannon Rose sound nice too. With a 12/22 baby,
there's always Holly too!
Douglas Alan and Michael Joseph are nice names as well. How
about using your husband's name for the middle name? I like
the sounds of Steven Daniel or Matthew Daniel. If you want to
stick with a "D" name, there's always David, Dennis, or Derek
(not sure how "regular" the last two are!) all of which sound
great with Alan as a middle name.

I also like Victoria Lynn for a girl. Douglas Alain sounds good
to me, too.
Congratulations and good luck.

My husband will be happy to hear your votes are for Victoria Lynn.
He picked Victoria.
I did think of Steven Daniel but my brother-in-laws name is Steeve
(that's not a type-0) and I thought it would be too confusing.
Thanks for your help. Douglas Alain and Victoria Lynn it is.....
