I think Shawn Michael is a great choice! Personally, I prefer the
spelling Sean; for some reason I think of the Shawn as the girls'
version???. Other ideas would be Shawn David Amburg or Shawn
Robert Amburg.
I like Beth too and have thought to use it should we have a baby
girl someday...however, I have a real hard time finding a middle
name that goes with it. Do you have any ideas? Beth Anne Amburg
suggested in .1 isn't too bad and uses your middle name but doesn't
seem to flow just right. How about Beth Nicole Amburg or Beth
Catherine Amburg?

| No offense, but I was going to suggest anything BUT Beth Anne! Ann,
Anne seems to be THE middle name for Beth. I would suggest, tho, a
middle name with a vowel beginning:
Beth Amy
Beth Eva
Beth Emily
Beth Allison
Beth Alice
Beth Evelyn
Beth Yvonne
Some other possibilities:
Beth Corrine
Beth Helene
Beth Janine
Beth Lenore

When I suggested Beth Anne in .1, I hadn't tried it with the
last name.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions! We have decided on the name
Beth Nicole if it is a girl. We are still debating on the boy's name.
It will probably either be Shawn Phillip or Shawn Michael. We we have
to make up our minds pretty soon....only a couple of weeks to go!!!

Great choices. As far as making up your minds, sometimes it works
to wait until you see the baby and then you just know which name
is right - Shawn Philip or Shawn Michael! Either way, you can't
go wrong. Beth Nicole is excellent as well (Hey, didn't I suggest
that?!)
