674.0. "NAMES FOR TWIN GIRLS" by FSOA::TPAOLINO () Mon Apr 29 1991 14:06

    We are expecting twin girls in August, my husband and I agree on
    one name but need help for the other. We have a son named Kyle
    Anthony - any ideas are helpful.

    We both like the name Jillanna (Jill for short).
    I like Brooke
    My husband likes Colby

    Need middle names too!

    Thanks

    Boy, seems like there's a lot of twins going around lately!

    Jill is great! For middle names, how about Jillianna Rae or
    Jillianna Rose or Jillianna Brooke? I think a short name
    sounds best with Jillianna. Is Paolino the last name?

    I also like both Brooke and Colby. They work well together (Colby
    Brooke or Brooke Colby) so maybe you could use both and make both
    mom and dad happy? The only thing is that neither seems to
    complement Jilliana (it's so feminine) if that is a consideration
    in naming your twins. What about Julia or Deanna or Victoria?
    Alexandra Brooke is also nice...

    Best wishes,
    Carol
674.2All IMO, of courseSTEREO::FAHELAmalthea Celebras, Silver UnicornMon Apr 29 1991 16:3012
    I'm not big on either Brooke or Colby (Brooke could be "Babbling
    Brooke" and Colby reminds me of cheese).

    I like the suggestion in .1 about Jillianna Rose, and some of the other
    names mentioned.

    How about:
    Dominique Lynn
    Linette Marie
    Alicia Anne

    K.C.
674.3Brooke and Colby as 1st namesKYOA::CHANGTue Apr 30 1991 10:398
    I think Brooke and Colby sound good together - each as a first name.

    So, how about Brooke Elizabeth	Colby Jillanna
    		  Brooke Alexandra	Colby Arianna
    		  Brooke Vanessa	Colby Victoria

    Chris

    re:.1 - yes, last name is Paolino - pronounced pay-o-lee-no.
            Great idea - Jillanna Colby, we both like that one.

            Please keep coming with the ideas!

    Thanks

674.5Jillanna Colby and Christa Brooke?4EVER::MEHRINGTue Apr 30 1991 18:1418
I like:

	Jillanna Colby and Stephanie Brooke
			or Lauren Brooke
			or Lindsey Brooke
			or Lydia Brooke
			or Lindy Brooke
			or Jacklyn Brooke
			or Alexa Brooke
			or Tara Brooke
			or Christa Brooke   Paolino

Lots of thinks sound good with Brooke and Colby as middle names. I agree that
the first two names should be of similar femininity-levels though...

Good luck,
-Cori
