I am due in April and have a girls name picked out.  (That's what I want...:) )
But, since you never know....I need to find a boys first name that will go with

{first} Robert Finkelsen.

HELP.  I just know if I don't have a name picked out, I'll have a boy and will
be sitting there for 3 days trying to think of a good name.

I found this interesting as my husband's name is Robert Arthur!

My ideas so far are:

*Brian     Robert    (confusing with nephew Ryan)
Jeffrey    Robert    (Too many F's?  Jeff Finkelsen?)
Jordan     Robert    (Name of his sister's dog!)
Kevin      Robert
Mark       Robert
Nicholas   Robert    
Shane      Robert
Scott      Robert

    Hi Ellen,
    
    I think a "soft" first name goes well with Finkelson; Brian being
    a relatively soft name.   If you spend alot of time with your
    nephews then there might be some name confusion but I don't think
    that should be a reason to scrap a favorite name.   Other names
    I like from your list are Kevin and Shane and would offer Sean
    Robert for your consideration.
    
    I think that Jeff, Scott, Mark, and Nick are all a bit harsh with
    Finkelson for what its worth.
    
    Out of curiousity, what's your girl's name choice??

Sean would be more confusing than Brian as we know a ton of Seans.

My choice for a girl so far is Chelsea Michelle Finkelsen.  Keeping my fingers
crossed.

If we go with Brian, I'm sure my creative family will come up with a way to make
the distinction! :)
