    This is kind of fun!
    
    Here's one for just plain weird! My great grandmother's name (she's
    still alive) is Gertrude Minerva McAllister. She wasn't too happy when
    my mother named our dog Minerva.
    
    Also, with the recent elections my brother said he saw a political 
    commercial for, I believe, a gubernatorial candidate down south.
    His name?  Dick Sweatz. Honest! My brother couldn't believe he doesn't
    go by Richard.
    
    Also, in Junior High School I had a good friend named Jimmy Carter.
    Of course Carter was the President then. One day Jimmy and I got into
    trouble and the assistant principal demanded to know our names. When
    Jimmy told him his he had to stay after for detention!
