600.0. "Need name for Welch" by TLE::WELCH () Fri Oct 26 1990 13:26

    I need a boys name to go with WELCH. I have a son Patrick and a
    daugher Kelly (Patrick Timothy and Kelly Ann). I like lots and
    lots of girls names, but I'm having trouble with a boys name.

    Names I can't use (because they are already in the family) are:
    Kenny, Bryan, Matthew.

    I'm open to anything, but I think the first name should have two
    syllables.

    Thanks in advance for your help ...btw....baby Welch due in March.

    I'm leaning towards Meghan for a girl....no middle name yet!
600.3ian/kevin michael welch!CNTROL::STOLICNYFri Oct 26 1990 16:287
    It seems that you like Irish-sounding names...

    I second .1's suggestions of Kevin or Ian for a boy and I like
    them both with Michael as a middle name. I also like Sean (but
    it doesn't fit your two-syllable requirement) and Andrew.

    good luck,  cj/
600.4Ryan ChristopherCUPMK::TAKAHASHIMon Oct 29 1990 12:264
    How about Ryan? It seems like you're going with the Irish names. I
    think Ryan Christopher sounds nice.

600.5A few more suggestions...RIPPLE::BARTHOLOM_SHUser_Friendly does not = Idiot_ProofMon Oct 29 1990 17:1310
    My brother and sister-in-law just had their first baby boy, some
    of the names they considered were:

    Morgan
    Mackenzie
    Greyson

    They called my new nephew: Jordan Grey

    Shilah
600.6Colin James WelchEXIT26::MACDONALD_KWed Nov 07 1990 12:368
    Definately Irish: Colin (Possibly James for a middle name?)

    I like Meghan for a girl...

    Of course, Ian is my favorite name, but not if you want an Irish name.
