I have to say that I fell in love with the name Raisa (SP?), its
so pretty and I really think Mikhail is a lovely substitute for
Michael.

| I know a Russian woman named Nastia and her daughter's name is
Ulka (pronounced Yool'-ka). I've always liked the name Natalia,
but I'm not sure if it's Russian. Congratulations...

| My mother's family is all Russian, so let's see if I can help out.
Almost all the women are named either Sophia or Vera. My great
grandmother's name was Malasha (I named my dog this.). My mother's
name is Katherine, but my grandmother always called her "Katchya".
Some others: Natasha (or Natassia)& Anya.
My grandfather's name was George (pronounce Gay-org)
Some others: Sasha, Sergei, Boris.
That's all I can remember at the moment.
