487.0. "I always took these names for granted." by HSOMAI::CROWE1 (CROWE) Thu Feb 01 1990 11:54

When I was married my brother-in-law was Billy Grahm.

One of my husbands cousins named their new baby boy Eaton which I think
is a really great name for a boy, but put it with his last name of
Crowe and you get Eating Crow.

My 5th grade teacher was Linda Lovelace, it was'nt until I was much
older that I found out she (the actress, not the teacher) was a popular
    porn star at the time.

Oh - and in reference to Ima and Emma Hogg, they really did exist.
They were from Angleton, Texas and were from a very prominent/wealthy
family. Angleton, Texas is the location of the Hogg Estate, it's only
claim to fame (trust me). Houston has academic scholarships,
buildings, etc., etc., dedicated or donated by the Hogg estate.

Regarding Ima and Emma Hogg, wasn't it Ima and Ura (sp) Hogg?

Also, I'm due the end of July and when I told one of my friends
that I decided that I was going to name the baby (if it's a girl)
Amelia Rae she replied, "Boy, I'm glad my mother didn't name me
Amelia" her last name is Gearhart.
