A friend of mine is expecting her first baby on January 14th. If it is a girl she will be named Zara and if it is a boy he will be named Jamel. These names sound like names one would hear on Star Trek or something. Although I must admit that Zara holds some interest to me. Has anyone ever heard about this name before? Curious, Eileen

I knew an older woman named Zara years ago. It is of European origin, but since I was such a little kid at the time, I didn't pay any attention to the lineage of the woman. She was very dark haired, and olive skinned but I don't believe she was Italian. Can anyone else help out? --sandy | |||||
