I need some help for my futur-nephew who is suppose to come up soon. The parents want to call him/her : Gillian Jillian But as they are French, they are not sure if those names are for boys or girls. May somebody help us ? Didier.

I am planning to name my baby (if it is a girl) Jillian. I also have only heard of it in the female sense. I didn't know it was French either. Now I know! | |||||

No no, it's not a French name at all. But we found it in a French book of babynames, classified with boys names (?), but as we had a doubt, I wanted to ask the question to the English-speaking persons you were. Thanx to all of you, I'll tell them to find as soon as possible another boys name :-). Didier. |
