My wife wanted to name my son Shawn, Catlin (after one of her soap opera hunks).
Although I liked the name I felt that he would undoubtedly have problems with
the name Catlin in school, as you can imagine. We therefore decided to name
him Shawn Catlin. We chose the spelling SHAWN because we felt that SEAN looked
more like it should be pronounced "seen".
