Is this so her initials will be the same as her name? Some other
"hard C" names are Candace and Constance, but a soft C or a CH sound
might work better after the K:

    			Cecile
    			Cecilia
    			Cicely
    			Cybil
    			Celeste
    			Charlotte
    			Charlene
    			Chantal

I would vote for the CH sound more. With the hard "K" and the "s" sound in
Kaycie a CH sound would be best.

Out of the ones listed in the previous reply, I like Kaycie Charlene.

268.4There's always Casey...EDUHCI::WARRENWed Jul 20 1988 14:048
That's the one I liked best, too. There's also Cheryl.

Actually, my daughter's name starts with C, but you can't have
that one! Just kidding, but it would sound pretty silly with Kaycie.
    It's Caileigh (pronounced KAY-lee).

TO LN AND TRACY

THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTIONS, I MISSPELLED THE WAY WE WANT TO USE THE FIRST
NAME, THE ACTUAL SPELLING IS "KAYCI", WHICH ARE THE COMBINED NAMES OF MY
WIFE'S TWO CLOSEST FRIENDS -- KAY AND DARCI. I WANT TO HAVE THE MIDDLE
NAME BEGIN WITH C SO THAT EVERYONE WILL BE CALLING HER KAYCI AND I HER
FATHER WILL CALL HER K.C., SO HOPEFULLY WE WILL HAVE A SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP!

If it's not too late - how about Christian. This name is used for
both male and female. When I had my daughter, her first name was
not hard to find it was her middle name. We called her Karen Christian
and K.C. would have been a good nickname. Too late now, she's 23.

    Good Luck

TO EVERYONE THAT'S CONTRIBUTED, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS.
MY WIFE AND I HAVE DECIDED TO USE KAYCI COURTNEY.

ONCE AGAIN THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

That's great. Of course now that you've picked out just the right
girl's name, you'll probably have a boy! Good luck and let us know
    when Kayci arrives.
