| | I know someone who's name is April (guess when she was born ;-)).
    She likes her name but said that it was very confusing when she
    was little and learning the months. She kept telling the teacher
    that it was her name, not a month.

| | I have a friend who named her son August. I guess it could be
    considered a derivative of Augustus or the French Auguste. The name
    fits her son well, and like she says, everyone knows how to spell it.

| | I was at the park the other day and overheard a mother
calling her two girls... one was Amber and the other
was Autumn. Different.
I also have an ex-aunt named April, whose mother's name
was May, but can't comment on how they felt about the
names...

| | I knew a baby named Amber. It is becoming slightly popular. I've also
    known a few girls named April, and one named June. My Mother-in-law's
    middle name is May. August is used occasionally as a boys' name.

    Of the above people I know, none of them mind their names at all.

    And the show "Married...With Children" had a character on it named
    "April May June" ("My parents have a sick sense of humor")

| | I read an article in the magazine "Victoria" a few months back that
    said during Victorian times they loved names in themes
    (months,gems,flowers et cetera). For instance:

    Months = April, May, June
    Gemstones = Pearl, Ruby, Opal
    Flowers = Rose, Daisy
