Is anyone out there interested in starting a Child Care
Conference? I'm expecting a baby in March, and I've heard
that it's getting difficult to find good, inexpensive child
care in this area, especially for placing an infant.
I'm a Digital Tag who moves around to different jobs, so
I can't open a new conference myself. Would anyone with
a permanent node like to start this conference? If so,
please contact me on node PRYDE::TAG1 or DTN 276-8157.

Good child care is hard to come by no matter what area you live
in. Where is "this area" by the way? I'm assuming that it's somewhere
in the East Coast area, given the DTn. (we don't have them here
in LA)
I know that it doesn't have anything to do with this conference,
but what are "Digital Tags"?

Hi D. Marie-
A Digital Tag is a Temporary employee who basically
is called to duties in various areas (usually somewhat local-
hopefully)
So L.A. huh? Wow!!
HAve a happy holiday out there though you guys won't get snow like
us out here in Massachusetts.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I've just gotten
a new account.
"This area" is Massachusetts, where it's very difficult to
find infant care (under the age of two). BUT I FOUND SOMEONE,
and she lives in the same neighborhood as me! I hope this
will work out.
A "Digital Tag" is a Digital employee who doesn't get any
benefits (sick days, holidays, vacation, etc.) and moves
around to different "temporary" positions. I'm hoping to
get permanently hired by Digital sometime in the future.
