hi i'm new to this so bear with me.
i have been looking through the files and i haven't seen
my name at all. its Deidre (deer-dra) prononceation.
i use to now what it meant but now all i can remember
is it was also the name of an irish goddess. i have met
4 people with my name and we all seem to spell it different
i spell it above and others spell it deirdra, or dierdre
but i like the way i spell it. the nicknames that i have
been called are De, Dede, Dee, Deedee pretty routine but
spelled different.

I've met one Deirdre and one Deidre..
At least that's how I think they spelled it.
I've not met anyone with my name either it's Jeri-Elayne

The name comes from way back in Irish mithology. Deirdre was in
a lot of books about Fionn McCuall (?SPELL)

Hi,
I am new to this file too, and I was surprised not to see my
name in it much. My name is Denise. I only saw it mentioned
once/twice in the D names topic.
Any other Denise's out there?

Hi Denise,
My name is also Denise. I am fairly new to this notes file as well
as haven't seen our name mentioned but once maybe. I am expecting
the end of December, so I've only been reading this baby file for
about a month.
I never thought I'd have such a hard time trying to decide on a
name! Although I do have many picked out for a girl, it's the boy's
names that I'm having a hard time with. So if anyone out there
has any suggestions I'd sure appreciate them! So far for boys names
I have Gregory James, Matthew Aaron, Kurt or Justin (no middle names
to go with them yet) but I am still not totally happy with any of
them. For girls names I have picked out Andrea, Shana, Shannon,
Stephanie, Cassie, or Rebecca and the list goes on and on.
Well it was nice to hear from another DENISE!
