157.0. "HELP ME " by TRFSV2::D_CHAPMAN () Thu Nov 26 1987 12:34

    Hi, I'm new to the NET and I would love some help.

    I am filling in for someone who is away on Maternity Leave (funny,
    eh? - just for the record she named her new son Patrick John Chapman
    born Haloween) and I would like all you knowledgeable baby namers
    to help me.

    My full name is Liliann Dolores Sterpin and incidentally, I hate
    both the names my parents gave me. I feel Liliann is too old sounding
    and Dolores is just as bad... no offence to anyone else but take
    in account what your kid's feelings might be when they get called
    names in school. Anyway, I'm getting married in March of 1988 to
    Jean Marc Levesque (very french... he has gone by Marc all his life
    and legally he is J. Marc).

    This leads me to my problem... I have gone by Lili since I was born
    and I am about to become Lili Levesque (ugh!) We also plan to start
    a family right away.

    Can anyone think of any different type names (such as Kendra, Rhiannon,
    for girls and Aidan, Jordan for boys that might sound nice with
    Levesque??? We both vowed that our kids would have nice names and
    a little different from common names that you hear all the time.

    I really appreciate your help and many thanks in advance.

    Lili

157.1ORIANE FOR A GIRLSHIRE::MICHEWed Dec 09 1987 09:148
    How about Oriane for a girl. It's nice either in French or English
    and it sounds fine with Levesque. I can't think of any for a
    boy, but maybe one will come to me in a couple of days.

    Good luck !

    Eva (which sounds like "evah" and is pretty heavy with Levesque,
    so don't put this on your list ...)
157.2Why don't you try it FRENCH???PEARS::BUSCHHORNWed Dec 09 1987 09:4415
    Hi Lilli,

    what's about Dervan Levesque or as Levesque is sounding very French,
    why don't you chose a French name,

    like	Daniel Levesque
    or		Michel Levesque
    		Remy Levesque.,,,,,

    Please let me know what name you will take, because it's not so
    long now.  :-)

    Later,
    Birgit
