A friend of a friend gave her daughter this beautiful name. I asked
her where it originated from as I had never heard it before and
found it quite charming.
The friend of my friend kind of blushed and related the following
story to me:
It seems that one day in her eighth month, she was sitting in front
of the TV eating a tub of chocolate chip ice cream when a perfume
commercial came on....she mulled the name of the perfume over and
over in her head for the rest of the day. She decided right then,
that should she be blessed with a daughter she would name her Shanelle.
I smiled at this young woman and told her she probably should've
saved the name for her fifth daughter. <smile> ;-)
