Hello Everybody from "Good Old" Germany! I've got just three reasons to answer to your fantastic (but yet a bit thin) "Database": - My Name isn't yet registered, - My Birthday is the day this notefile was created (not the year of course), - I'm ALSO becoming father however not of twins. Ad Res: My first name is ANDREAS. This name with all its mutations like Andy, Andrew, Andrea (for girls) or others comes from the Greece mythology; it means as mutch as strong or brave. (They say not always the name meets the person it wears...) ANDREAS is reportet for a very long time (e.g. remember the third apostel, the brother of Simon Petrus) and was in the last years one of the most choosen ones. (Astonishly this is also valid for the "DDR", the so-called "German ""Democratic"" ""Republic"""). I think this should be enough for now; if you have more interest in the name ANDREAS or do know more data about it: REPLY! greeting Andreas (I think you know now!)

35.1 | Andrew = Anders in Svenske? | 24595::RPGDOC | Have pen, will travel | Mon Aug 18 1986 15:38 | 6 |
We named our son Andrew with the thought that it was Celtic, but inadvettantly, it's also his maternal grandfather's name. We overlooked this (or at least I did) because my father-in-law goes by A. Delebert Peterson. He's actually the fifth generation on his mother's side with this name if you include "Anders" although someone said that "Anders" in Svenske is not the same name as "Andrew". | |||||

my name is Andrea. I have been told that it means womanly. I love my name. It used to be quite uncommon but I've noticed alot of little girls have been named that. |
