Kerrie Anne is the name of my 14 year-old daughter. It sort
of goes with my other daughters' names, Julie and Leslie.
It is derived from Kerry, which, to me, is not definitive
enough in regards to gender.
If anyone has shortened it, it hasn't stuck. Everyone still
calls her Kerrie. However, she is very active in sports, and
we have seen some creative spellings over the years, such as
Kerry, Kery, Kerie, Kerri, etc.
We have seen the identical spelling used by others, although
not before she was born.
My children are mongrels, what with being part French, English,
Irish, German, Dutch and Belgian, so nationality was not a
consideration, though it does sound Irish.
Anne was chosen because it seems to go along nicely. (It is
also the middle name of my other girls.)

| I just had a daughter in March, 1987 and I named her Carrie Marie.
I have always loved the name Carrie (Kerrie). I chose to spell
my daughters name with a 'C' because my name starts with a 'C'.
I chose Marie for the same reason you chose Anne, it goes nicely
with Carrie!
By the way, I appreciate that you spelled Anne with
an 'e' on the end. My middle name is Anne, spelled with an 'e'.

My name is Carrie-Ann. Thats it. No middle name. I think my mother
named me after that song " Hey Carrie-Ann, whats your game can anybody
play" My boyfriend calls me Carr (sounds like k-air).

| My friend was named after the song as well, but her parents chose
to spell it Kari Ann.
Originally her name was to be Dawn Marie which is a beautiful name
as well, but as her father was driving to the hospital the song
was playing on the radio so Kari Ann it was.
I have yet to come across the same spelling.
