	Are you the one who was asking in the Digital_Investing conf?
	I thought I had answered the question, but here goes again :-)

	Stocks start trading on the NYSE at 9:30am ET, and end at 4pm ET.
	Some pre-holiday or similiar have shortened trading days, which
	is usually til 1pm ET.

	I believe the AMEX follows the NYSE.  I also believe the NASDAQ
	does, though the stocks on the NASDAQ I believe can often trade
	after-hours on other exchanges and/or markets (as can even NYSE/AMEX
	listed stocks).  Some intra-day trading out there will hopefully
	have a more definitive answer :-)

    I believe there is a projected opening price that is posted to brokers
    at some time prior to the opening of trading.  There is not set time
    for this and I am saying this only from personal conversations which
    took place prior to being able to make a trade.
    
    For those who trade on-line, what can you see as an opening price and
    when can you close a trade in the morning?

    Definitely strange. NYSE close is 4:00pm. 
    
    Maybe that dbc number includes after hours trading ?
