Intergraph seems to have dipped down from 16. Their hardware side has huge margins; they slap together a P6 and a sexy graphics card and charge $20k. Last quarter the hardware side made money but software didn't (unusual). INGR also probably represents a better "pure play" on Windows NT than even MSFT. I don't own any, but was thinking about getting some. Anybody follow INGR? Any following by major institutions? Any major contracts pending? Any estimates for this quarter? Any opinions? Tanks, Kratz

I have been following Intergraph for a while now. According to some of my friends working there, theyare not doing all that well. They have a strong hold on AEC market, which keeps them going. Other than the big navy contract few years ago they do not have seems to have won anything major recently. THie rmCAD strategy is very weak .I would not invest my money in Intergraph unless the stock dips below 10. Jay | |||||

They had a bad quarter (14 cent loss vs. 49 loss year ago; down @10% today); glad I waited. On the other hand, this is usually the time to get in. K |
