903.0. "Historic T-Bill %rates?" by PCBUOA::JELENIEWSKI () Mon Aug 14 1995 16:12

Can anyone point me to a place where I can determine
what the US Govt. T-Bill rate history has been for, say
the last 3 years. I have a need to track this information
and I do not know where to get it.

I have been to a couple of commercial banks to ask. All I get is
    a blank stare.

This actually has to do with a mortgage on some investment property.
The note is written so that the variable interest is a function of
the T-bill rate on a certain date each year. The Bank has since
failed and the new owners have not honored the variable terms of
the note. I am contemplating action against them, but I don't
know how to get the historic rates, so I can figure out what the
    damage is.

    Thanks,

I would try calling the Federal Reserve Bank in your area - if they can't
provide you with the info. then they ought to be able to give you a pointer.
Also, there are different T-bill rates, 3-mo., 6-mo., etc. so you should check
which one your mortgage is tied to.

It's hard to know exactly what you want, but searching on

	Federal Reserve

in Yahoo (http://www.yahoo.com/search.html on the WWW) pulled up
four different sources of information, including a gopher URL for
the "Econonmic Bulletin Board" which yielded a whole set of
directory entries for Treasury Auction Results, from 1983 to
    the latest.
